Qualifications - The candidate should have a history of having led successful product engineering deliveries in the relevant products and support of such in technically complex environments
- 15-20 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Engineering, 6-9 years leading IT engineering teams; 6-8 years experience in Cloud engineering including: Infrastructure as Code, Data, Communications, Security, and/or Platform
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Information Technology
- Intermediate experience with Azure Software as a Service solutions (Azure SaaS)
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow

- The Leadership impacts the business results of a division by setting priorities, allocating resources, and developing policies and plans
- The Manager - Cloud Engineering provides leadership to cloud engineering teams and projects
- Additionally, the leader will manage, lead, and coach a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for cloud-native product engineering focused on Infrastructure as Code product delivery
- Partner with product owners and other Cloud engineering teams to deliver secure, high performing, highly available products leveraging Infrastructure as Code technologies
- The role requires broad engineering experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud technologies; Azure DevOps Repos and Pipelines; Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS); Candidates filling the role will be responsible for the teams design, development, and support of Infrastructure as Code deployments of Azure resources via Azure DevOps
- Manages, directs or supervises staff and the effective development, deployment and operation of cloud infrastructure
- Ensures that assigned cloud infrastructure operates at optimal efficiency in line with available budgets
- Meets with client management, project planning and selects resources for various projects
- Provides technical direction at an operational level, determining standards, and with defining operational schedules for the specific array of interlinked projects
- Has extensive technical interaction with cloud platform providers in ensuring the technical, security and performance capabilities of cloud platform offerings, as well as the review of initial and operating costs
- Develops and maintains policies and standards relative to the cloud computing operations and use
- Applies divisions vision & mission, governance policies and collects metrics for periodic reporting
- Manages budget, maintenance projects, develop resource/cost plans, conduct cost variance analysis, implement variance corrective actions, and ensure SOWs completion
- Ability to negotiate and influence others internally and externally, including TPOs, business leaders, vendors and senior executives
- The number of days reporting on-site will ultimately be determined by the employees leadership and business unit needs
