Job Description:
We are looking for a Lead Application Engineer with extensive experience in application and software engineering, particularly within distribution centers and logistics technology. This role involves leading technical teams and working closely with external vendors like Manhattan Associates to develop and support Manhattan WMOS for Warehouse Management Systems. You will collaborate in an agile environment, translating business requirements into functional specifications, and driving productive discussions with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor engineering teams.
Collaborate with Manhattan Associates to design and develop new WMS capabilities.
Perform configuration, testing, and production support for WMS applications.
Work in an agile development environment using tools like Jira for sprint planning and story estimation.
Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional specifications.
Key Skills:
10+ years of experience in application/software engineering.
Expertise with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), specifically Manhattan WMOS.
Experience in distribution centers or logistics technology.
Agile development experience with Jira.
Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
Excellent business acumen and situational leadership.
