Your Role at DXC
As a Machine Learning & AI Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of advancing AI technology to enhance our client's operations and boost their capabilities. You will lead complex AI/ML projects, implement Generative AI solutions, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Support
- Guide and Mentor: Lead a team of software engineers and AI specialists by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and career development coaching.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful software development and deployment.
- Project Management: Prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage project timelines to deliver high-impact AI solutions on time and within budget.
- Foster Growth: Encourage continuous learning, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration within your team.
Hands-on Development
- AI/ML Expertise: Develop, implement, and deploy machine learning models across multiple domains, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Generative AI Solutions: Utilize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Vector DBs, and popular frameworks like LangChain and Hugging Face to implement innovative AI solutions.
- NLP Models: Develop NLP models using techniques such as text classification, RNNs, CNNs, and Transformer-based models like BERT.
- Model Optimization: Manage the end-to-end AI/ML process from data preprocessing to feature engineering, deployment, and monitoring.
Technical Proficiency
- Programming: Demonstrate strong programming skills in Python and advanced knowledge of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Cloud Expertise: Leverage AWS tools like Sagemaker, Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3 to scale AI/ML solutions and integrate them into business processes.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (advanced degrees a plus).
- Experience: 7+ years in AI/ML/GenAI with a proven track record of successful leadership in managing complex projects.
- AI Expertise: Strong experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Generative AI: Hands-on experience implementing Generative AI using RAG, Vector DBs, and frameworks like LangChain and Hugging Face.
- Cloud Knowledge: Proficient in AWS and related services like Sagemaker, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading teams, mentoring junior engineers, and guiding technical direction.
- Communication: Excellent ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
