What You’ll Do:
Proactively Combat Threats: Work alongside a team of experts to identify deceptive behaviors and investigate emerging threats.
Data-Driven Protection: Collect and analyze signals through advanced data analytics to inform detection models and develop mitigation strategies.
Predict and Detect Abuse: Develop and test predictive models of potential feature abuse.
Tactical Analysis: Data mine threat actor behaviors and tactics, creating scalable solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, policy teams, and communications to bridge gaps in threat response processes.
Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts to execute a robust roadmap for threat detection and mitigation.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in threat discovery and prevention, with at least 2 years detecting and investigating various threat types.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R.
Strong statistical analysis skills and working knowledge of machine learning.
Experience leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and managing stakeholder relationships.
A proven ability to creatively mitigate complex threats and identify signals of nefarious behavior.
Emotional resilience and a commitment to self-care to navigate the role’s demands.
What Sets You Apart:
Familiarity with integrity and authenticity challenges or managing violent behaviors and dangerous actors.
Experience designing, testing, and applying machine learning models.

Competitive base salary ranging from $167,537 to $312,866 annually (depending on qualifications and location).
