What’s Next?We’re growing and need a Senior Data Scientist to bring innovative, AI-powered healthcare solutions to life. If you’re passionate about using Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and NLP to solve real-world problems, this role is for you.
As part of our team, you’ll work with a talented group of data scientists, engineers, and healthcare experts to design and deploy solutions that make a measurable impact on patients' lives. What You’ll Do:
- Drive Innovation: Use advanced data science techniques to create solutions that push the boundaries of healthcare analytics.
- Shape the Future of Healthcare: Develop models that leverage GenAI, LLMs, and NLP to optimize healthcare delivery, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside cross-functional teams, from product developers to healthcare professionals, to create data-driven solutions for population health and value-based care.
- Advanced Analytics: Lead the development of machine learning models, leveraging cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP to create scalable solutions.
- Data Exploration & Cleaning: Dive deep into messy, complex data, identify key trends, and prepare it for analysis to uncover actionable insights.
- NLP Magic: Extract insights from unstructured healthcare data—clinical notes, medical literature, and more—using Natural Language Processing techniques.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of bright minds, serving as an expert in GenAI and AI-driven healthcare analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy AI agents that can autonomously make decisions in healthcare analytics.
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to create robust, scalable models.
- Apply advanced NLP techniques to process healthcare data, from patient records to clinical notes.
- Mentor the next generation of AI experts, helping the team navigate complex healthcare challenges.
Who You Are:
- Experience: 5+ years of data science experience, with a strong focus on healthcare analytics and NLP.
- Skills: Proficient in Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, and NumPy.
- Tech-Savvy: Deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning, LLM applications, and NLP techniques.
- Cloud Expertise: Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- Healthcare Insight: Familiar with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR), HIPAA regulations, and the unique challenges in healthcare.
- Advanced Degree: Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
- Bonus Points: Published research, certifications in cloud technologies, or experience working with Epic or other major EHR systems.
