Key Responsibilities
- System Maintenance & Optimization: Monitor, maintain, and improve server and network infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security measures, manage firewalls, and ensure systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues for hardware, software, and network systems while providing expert support to internal teams.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain backup strategies, ensuring data integrity and quick recovery in case of failures.
- Automation & Scripting: Leverage automation tools and scripts to optimize system administration tasks, enhancing efficiency.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders while maintaining detailed documentation of processes and configurations.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience as a System Administrator, IT Support Engineer, or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows/Linux environments, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and networking protocols.
- Security Expertise: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions efficiently.
- Certifications (Preferred but Not Required): CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent.
