Job Description:
We are seeking a Lead Developer, SPM (Sales Performance Management) 12-month remote engagement. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Oracle Incentive Compensation, Oracle Sales Performance Management platforms, and Oracle technologies. In this role, you will lead the development team to design, develop, and implement customizations, integrations, and extensions to the Oracle Incentive Compensation system while ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development team in designing, developing, and implementing the Oracle Incentive Compensation system.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Provide technical guidance to the development team, ensuring the technical feasibility of the project.
• Oversee the development and testing of customizations, integrations, and extensions for Oracle Incentive Compensation.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and company policies, conducting code reviews and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the development and implementation phases.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Oracle technologies, incentive compensation systems, and sales performance management concepts.
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and training materials.
• Coordinate with external vendors and consultants as needed for successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Development Lead or similar role, with specific experience in Oracle Incentive Compensation and Oracle Sales Performance Management platforms.
• Strong technical expertise in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF).
• Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in development tools and technologies, including version control systems, IDEs, and testing frameworks.
• Experience with system integration, data migration, and performance tuning.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and system implementation best practices.
• Knowledge of incentive compensation and sales performance management concepts and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
• Expertise in Oracle technologies, including experience with Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle HCM, or similar platforms.
