Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead go-live planning and coordination for the Criminal and Rap Back Information System (CRIS) project and Virginia Sex Offender Management System (VSOMS).
- Collaborate with suppliers, interface partners, and internal IT divisions for testing and implementation.
- Plan and coordinate CRIS testing, release rollout, and post-release refinement.
- Document and coordinate tasks with VSP IT and interface partners in the release plan.
- Conduct simulated rollouts before each CRIS release.
- Define implementation requirements and coordinate test data preparation.
- Assist in business change management, including staffing plans, training, and role assignments.
- Manage security access and user profile management.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure requirements are properly documented.
- Analyze functional and non-functional system requirements.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in system test and implementation planning.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM).
- 5+ years of experience with cloud-hosted SaaS solutions.
- Experience managing security access and user profiles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information in nontechnical terms.
- Experience in criminal justice projects is a plus.
