Objectives of the Role
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions.
Define, document, and maintain best practices for cloud infrastructure and application deployment.
Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams to elevate their cloud capabilities.
Maintain high standards for application performance, uptime, scalability, and security.
Administer cloud environments in line with company-wide security and governance policies.
Key Responsibilities
Support lead architects in designing and deploying AWS applications for large-scale data processing and analytics.
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle for AWS-hosted solutions: planning, development, testing, and QA.
Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.
Deliver training and knowledge sharing on new cloud-based technologies and tools.
Proactively identify and resolve technical issues before they impact business operations.
Manage and maintain installations of NiFi and PostgreSQL, both on-premises and in the cloud.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience architecting and implementing AWS cloud solutions.
Proven experience with NiFi and PostgreSQL installations and management.
Strong familiarity with one or more of the following: ETL pipelines, data analytics, BI, machine learning platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and data scientists.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and RPC frameworks.
AWS Certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent) is a plus.
Experience with tools like Terraform, Apache Airflow, and S3 Buckets.
