Role: Big Data and Analytics Architect/Consultant Location: Plano,TX Objectives An experienced client-facing Analytics Solutions Architect to assist clients with their Analytics needs. The successful candidate should be a natural leader capable of building and growing customer relationships at all levels. As a member of the CSI Organization you will be a leading figure in the Service Delivery capability for Region North America (RNAM). A background in design and deployment of Analytics solutions is critical to this role. Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels are an absolute must. The candidate must have strong leadership, organizational, and strategic skills, as well as a dynamic and engaging personality. The Successful Candidate Will Direct, Coordinate And Administer Pre-sales And Delivery Opportunities. This Includes Defining and driving the strategy and roadmap for Big Data Analytics business and solutions for Client. Working with cross-functional teams to align “Go-To-Market” goals and tactics across the CSI Organization. Working with clients to develop a vision for Big Data and Analytics. Pre-sales support of Sales teams to promote and position Analytics solutions as well as contributing to customer commercial proposals. Engaging clients, capturing business requirements and translating to technical requirements. Leading the development of technical solutions and taking accountability of technical validity of the solutions including, testing, installation and integration. Providing leadership, and direction during the full software development lifecycle. Managing solutions with multi-vendor Big Data and Analytics products for all types of service providers including wireless, wire-line, cable, or utilities. Responding to RFIs and RFPs, and ensuring quality and consistency of scope, and cost estimates. Driving Proof-of-Concepts and demo’s Establishing a solid relationship with clients aimed at increasing Client credibility as the primary partner for delivering Big Data Analytics programs. Finding new business opportunities based on expanding existing customer solutions as well as creating new ones. Qualifications BS or MS in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or acceptable equivalent. The ideal candidate will have Consulting experience Over 15 years of IT experience designing and integrating EDW and Business Intelligence solutions. Over 3 Years working with Big Data and Analytics solutions. Proven experience in linking customer business drivers to successful Business Intelligence solutions. Knowledge and experience with Hadoop/Map Reduce. Skills in SQL scripting and coding and familiarity with relational databases. Knowledge of multivariate regression, time series models, cluster analysis, and logistic regression. Understanding of Predictive Analytics and Statistical Methods Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse design including ETL processes and tools. (e.g. Informatica, Pervasive) Strong experience with data warehouse platforms (e.g. Oracle, Greenplum, Netezza, Teradata) Experience with Business Intelligence and Analytics platforms (Guavus, SAS, IBM Cognos, MicroStrategy) Working knowledge of Pig, Hive, HBase or other NoSQL tools Experience with reporting dashboard products (e.g. Tableau) Ability to communicate and articulate value propositions at customer C-Level. Have the technical expertise to be recognized by the operator as an authority figure in Big Data Analytics. Knowledge of market insight and competitor intelligence.
