OBJECTIVE:

We have an exciting opportunity in our company, based in Pleasantville, New York, for an SAP “In-house Consultant” WM (Warehouse Management). 

Tasks

• Support and implementation for the S/4 Hana Rollout USA and Canada for the area of materials management and warehouse management (MM/WM)            
• Support for the local business departments in all SAP processes in S/4 Hana WM
• Analyze and conception for S/4 Hana processes optimizations
• First point of contact for the specialist departments for the conception of possible solutions, the further development of the SAP WM modules and customizing
• Analyze the processes within the SAP environment and develop optimizations
• Training of key-users and end-users
• After go-live: Support of key-users and end-users (1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd level)
• Contact Partner for Global IT Headquarter and local business departments
• You take over the conception, implementation and further development of exciting introductory and support projects for our international customers
• As a team player, you contribute your creativity to the conception and implementation of new processes
• You independently adopt customizing settings in SAP SD/MM, TM and/or (E)WM
• As a consultant you will take on project tasks for new customer implementations
• You create system and process documentation and identify optimization potential for our customers as part of process analyses

Profile

·       Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics, engineering or a comparable course of study or equivalent training and further education

• At least three years of professional experience in the SAP environment, as well as initial experience in dealing with agile methods, knowledge of programming (e.g. ABAP) and process automation
• Motivation to continuously expand your own skills in advising on IT-supported supply chain processes
• Several years of professional experience in the SAP MM/WM (SAP ECC) environment and also responsible for customizing
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA
• Analytical and conceptual skills while working on SAP projects including project management skills
• Extensive knowledge of the procedures and technical background of warehouse processes and purchasing processes
• Ideally knowledge of other SAP modules like SD
• good communicator, target group oriented
• team player in a global team (think global - act local)
• Experience with 3PL and consignment process

• Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of German
