Qualifications - Purpose: The SAP Business Process Specialist must have a high degree of experience and practical understanding in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM) in manufacturing environment
- The person in this role must possess the capability to analyze business and technical requirements; develop solutions to address the requirements; and provide industry subject matter expertise to site users to improve business processes and fully utilize SAP functionality
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Information Management, related business field, or equivalent
- Three years SAP business functional area experience in one or more key SAP modules or SAP systems development related experience, including SAP Configuration and participation on successful project teams
- Must be able to travel to consult other clients subsidiaries up to 50% at times and/or for a length of time
| Responsibilities - There are plans for continued growth of the operation as the worldwide sales of its products continue to expand as it moves into new products and new markets
- Recommend work process and/or operating changes to complement system functionality
- Perform business analysis of processes and systems
- Coordinate, implement, and communicate business process and system change requirements
- Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing solutions that are cost effective and meet user requirements
- Work with site users on continuous improvements and implementing factory floor solutions, defining current state and desired future state and identifying gaps (business processes; data configuration; data integrity)
- Be a change agent, lead and facilitate improvements with site users to completion
- Develop and execute actions to eliminate gaps, including developing training materials and providing training as necessary
- Define, test, train, implement and support business processes and tools related to Master Data & Manufacturing
- Work with and across SAP functional areas, understanding MM / PP integration with the other roles and assuring interdependent integrity
