Bachelorâ??s Degree in Computer Science (or related field)

â?¢

5+ years of Software Development within Workday framework

â?¢

3+ years of experience building the architecture and design (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems

â?¢

3+ years of experience in DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational Framework

â?¢

3+ Years experience building products in microservices-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs

â?¢

3+ Years experience in Data Center Structure, Capabilities & Offerings, including the Azure platform, and its native services

â?¢

2+ Experience in Azure Network (Subscription, Security zoning, etc.)

â?¢

4+ years of experience in open source frameworks

Responsibilities

â?¢

As a subject matter expert, MENTORS and LEADS engineering teams and team members in software delivery within Workday in an Agile Environment

â?¢

PROVIDES leadership to engineering teams UTILIZING Workday and related technologies

â?¢

OWNS complete solution across entire life cycle while UTILIZING strong problem-solving ability

â?¢

INFLUENCES and BUILDS vision with product managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to solve complex problems for building enterprise class business applications

â?¢

HOLDS accountability for the quality, usability, and performance of the solutions

â?¢

LEADS design sessions and code reviews to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization

â?¢

UTILIZES programming languages / databases (.NET, SQL, nosql), Container Orchestration services (Docker and Kubernetes), and a variety of Azure tools and services across the Software Development Lifecycle

â?¢

EXECUTES Software delivery UTILIZING an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) for continuous delivery, Infrastructure as code, Powershell scripting, Operation Portals (e.g., Azure Portal) and Monitoring Portals (e.g., Splunk and Application Insights)

â?¢

MENTORS junior team members in Workday and related technology

â?¢

SHARES best practices and IMPROVES processes within and across teams

â?¢

MEETS attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers
