Job Description:
Qualifications â?¢ Bachelorâ??s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field is required â?¢ Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience, preferably in the automotive industry | Responsibilities â?¢ Responsible for leading the development of a clear supply chain vision and developing strategies and relationships for communicating, sustaining, and achieving that vision â?¢ Develop an effective Best Business Practices package to drive operational excellence, lowering the total cost of the supply chain while maximizing its effectiveness â?¢ Optimize inventory planning and logistics functions to meet customer requirements, minimize risk and maximize return â?¢ Responsible for inventory levels within the North American portion of the aftermarket division â?¢ Lead the Supplier Development Team to ensure suppliers are meeting MAHLE requirements in a timely manner; develop and deploy strategies for developing â??weakâ? suppliers (eg â?¢ Quality Improvement Plans) â?¢ Aid plant Quality personnel in resolution of operational supplier quality related issues â?¢ Expand subject matter expertise of all materials staff by introducing best practices and leveraging internal and external knowledge bases â?¢ Develop processes, procedures and assessments to ensure flawless launches â?¢ Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that gauge the total supply chain effectiveness â?¢ Develop strategies to achieve KPI goals and drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance â?¢ Standardize the approach to packaging design and logistics execution to maximize its effectiveness and minimize its cost and environmental impact â?¢ Ensure compliance with all aftermarket, industry and government standards â?¢ Visit customers & suppliers as needed â?¢ Other duties as assigned â?¢ Supervises Supply Chain Department of approximately 6 employees |
