Job Description:
Sr. Business Rules Analyst
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the underwriting and risk product strategies in the business rules decision engine
Own the configuration changes to the underwriting system that don�?�¢??t require software engineer support, such as queue definitions, user security settings, and configurable screen changes
Manage changes required to the system by external software providers
Develop reporting and monitoring of rules and system performance in order to identify areas that are working well and areas that may need improvement
Support the operation and configuration of connected service providers, such as credit bureau data, DocuSign, etc.
Analyze requirements documentation and work with business partners to ensure requirements are clear and complete.
Conduct reviews and contribute to the creation of new policies, practices, and functionality to build out solution roadmaps with business stakeholders
Identify, troubleshoot and track defects in the rules and policies. Ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Ensure design and testing are complete and address all requirements.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment working with multiple products.
Qualifications:
3-5 years minimum experience working with business rules engine (e.g. Blaze, Pega, iLog, etc)
3-5 years minimum experience working databases and SQL
Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Planning and organization skills. Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Prefer somebody with previous consumer lending, financial services, or similar consumer credit business area experience
