Job Description:
Automate the configuration and deployment of monitoring and management services
Systems Administration of Ubuntu (CentOS or Red Hat would be a trade off)
Help improve monitoring and help identify key performance metrics
Write tools and scripts to provide automation and self services solutions for other teams
Work closely with developers and other staff to resolve dev/ops issues with customer facing services
Provide hands-on engineering, administration and technical support
Perform diagnostics of problems, troubleshoot and develop solutions for customer issues
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
Extensive cloud-based system and service administration experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Solid understanding of current web and internet technologies like Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Memcache
Must have strong troubleshooting/debugging skills and a passion for problem solving
Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc)
Experience administrating, deploying and managing Ubuntu, Red Hat or CentOS servers
Proficiency in authoring and managing configuration management frameworks, such as Chef and Puppet
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or equivalent; along with 5 years of relevant SysAdmin experience
