Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements, design and develop ETL processes moving source data through stage, integration, and presentation layers using TalendTake initiative on understanding details of upstream application changes and resulting impacts within data warehouseCollaborate within ETL team and across other teams - application development, Data Architect, DBA, BI Developers, etc.
- Monitor and support ETL and reporting job execution to ensure SLAs on external deliverables are metAnalyze functional requirements, mapping documents, assist in problem solving and trouble shootingPerforms code and design review;Coordinates and develops process automation/job schedulingSkills and ExperienceBS/MS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related area of study4+ years of experience in building ETL solutions4+ years of experience using an ETL Tool (e.g., Talend (preferred), Pentaho, Informatica, DataStage, BODI, etc.)
- 4+ years of experience using and developing complex SQL scripts to manipulate large data structures Solid experience working with dimensional modeling to support data warehouse environment
- Experience with data staging and building reusable ETL components
- Experience in trouble shooting technical issuesMySQLPythonJavaGood verbal and written communication skillsExperience working in an Agile Environment, contributing individually and also as a team member
