- PeopleSoft Asset Management & GL Support AnalystBring your PeopleSoft Asset Management & GL support expertise to this dynamic organization!
- This opportunity is remote (work from your house) and on a contract basis!Our client, a global manufacturer, was spun off of another company with a mature PeopleSoft Financials system.
- This client is still working with the parent company for technical support but has hired an internal technical team that will need to be ramped up into PeopleSoft for tasks such as batch processing, month/year end closes; as well as Administrative tasks related to security.
- Currently they have similar set ups for GL and AM in both the parent company and the spun off company.
- The successful candidate will first spend some time with the parent company technical resources, onsite, to understand their environments current state and see what customizations they have.
- Day to day, this Senior Level PeopleSoft Financials technical consultant will work on a remote basis to provide 24/7 support for GL and AM while assisting in the training of the new internal technical team.
- This will be on an as needed basis- some weeks may need heavier support than others.
- From the client:24 hour support of PeopleSoft GL and Asset Management batch schedules running on mainframe.
- Be able to troubleshoot mainframe batch job abends.Have experience in ISPF/TSO, JCL, JMR, and Mainframe Batch COBOL.
- Nice to have: Control-M scheduler knowledgeSupport some scheduled processing on PeopleSoft process schedulers (i.e. Currency rate download).
