Description:

This position is responsible for design, installation, support and availability of the z/VM operating system running on the mainframe platform, including related third party software products (CA-Manager Suite and Velocity).
This position requires participation in software upgrades, mainframe infrastructure projects, interfacing with other mainframe disciplines, providing general day to day support of the environment and occasional weekend work.
The most important skills are knowledge of z/VM, Dirmaint, RACF and exposure to Linux on System Z.
Strong customer focus and communication skills are also required.
