Job Description:
ssential Duties:
- Development activities include the design of new sections of an integrated company-wide portal or standalone SharePoint sites and integration with other enterprise systems or 3rd party plug-ins
- Design and develop web parts and websites that utilize SharePoint technology
- Participate in the implementation of usability standards and ensure adherence
- Work with internal clients and staff to determine appropriate design requirements, translating into an optimal, easy to use solution
- Provide input to the development and execution of design standards
- Design, develop and, implement front-end solutions for various Lines of Business including BI solutions such as dashboards, reports, and performance indicators
- Design and implement user interface and workflows
- Respond to directions from management in implementing solutions
- Develop and review migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs
- Develop core business content types and list/library structures
- Ability to provide Tier 1 & 2 user support
- Bachelors degree in IT related discipline or an equivalent experience.
- Experience with SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, Workflows, and Infopath desired
- Experience with web services, XML, JavaScript
- Experience with Visual Studio, SQL Server
- Experience with SharePoint
- Fundamental understanding of database concepts, including SQL, stored procedures, and triggers
- Practical experience in software development lifecycle
- Ability to think and perform in a process oriented manner
- Able to work independently or collaboratively Self-motivated, fast learner with exceptional follow-through and capable of working independently Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and quality
- Ability to manage workload across multiple fast-paced projects Excellent, demonstrated ability to express complex concepts in verbal and other forms
