Job Description:
JOB FUNCTION:
- Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:Enters employee indicative data from various source documents (Term Form, Audit Spreadsheets, etc.) into the HCM system.
- Audits data entry for accuracy and performs overall data audits
- Ensure appropriate system set-up and ongoing maintenanceIdentifies and escalates data and systems issues to direct supervisor
- Serves as liaison between HRIS Operations and the Payroll Department in order to ensure that employees are paid correctly.
- Troubleshoots data and related issues.
- Ensures appropriate approval paperwork for all transactions is completed and filed accordinglyMaintains system data tables and configuration including edits to approval workflows and reporting structure.
- Supports HRSP system enhancements
- Assists in the development of system user documentation including procedures and guidelines.
- Review, audit and maintain systems security and user access and role modifications due to job and organizational changes.
- Partners with internal stakeholders (like internal audit) and external stakeholders (third party vendors) to provide reports and other support.
- Create and run monthly, quarterly and annual queries and ensure accuracy of data feeds
- Document and maintain system procedures, test procedures and quality standards ensuring compliance with SOX controls.Provide technical support to users of SAP HCM.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as appropriate.
- Bachelor degree in related field (IT or computer science) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prefer HRIS and/or SAP-HR experience.
- Proficient Microsoft Office applications skills: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Outlook.
- Excellent organization skills with ability to handle high stress situations.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; proven positive interaction with all levels of employees and management.
- Well organized with the ability to handle multiple and competing priorities.
- Proactive and excellent judgment with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Intermediate or higher Excel, and Word skills.
- Ability to successfully and effectively work in a team-based environment.
- Self starter, highly motivated, and demonstrated strong work ethic.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information IMPERATIVE.
- 0-2 years of HRIS or related experience with bachelor degree, or 5-7 years overall experienceIntermediate knowledge and understanding of HR principles.
