- Main Account abilitiesSpecifies overall Data Architecture, including Data Acquisition, ODS, Data Warehouse, Data Provisioning, ETL and BIWorks across teams to ensure an efficient data highway, including thresholds and processes for overall data management, cleanliness and cohesiveness
- Reviews the suitability of existing data models. Builds or modifies data models to ensure flexibility to change when business requirements changeChampions our strategic vision, as well as the tactical approach, to the overall Data architecture and road map aligned to both business and technology requirements
- Ensures optimization, extensibility and application of the data model and architecture by assessing business processes, data sources, and data utilization
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 7+ years experience working with data architectures, data modeling, ETL, relational databases and data warehouse systems, preferably in a custom software development environment
- Minimum 5+ years experience with data modeling tools (such as Erwin, ER*Studio); experience in normalized, dimensional, star schema and snow-flake models
- Minimum 5+ years experience with Vertica, Oracle or other RDBMS
- Experience implementing large scale, extensible, sustainable DW solutions
- Excel in working across the organization to gain alignment and commitment
- Aptitude to quickly come up to speed on new technology and industry knowledge and concepts Advantageous: SQL experience querying complex data sets is a plus.
- Hands on experience successfully implementing SQL, ETL/ELT, Tableau and similar is a plus
- no SQL database implementations and PL_SQL experience is a plus
