Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, construct, deploy, test and support the following:Business Analytics and reporting systems including Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) programs, Data Warehouses and Cubes, reports, dashboards, queries, and data visualizations.Install, maintain, develop, and support Microsofts Business Intelligence Technologies including but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Analysis Server, Reporting Services, Integration Services, MDX, Excel, Power BI and SharePoint.
- Train end users in the proper use of Business Analytics solutions.
- Develop and maintain Data Dictionary and Data Governance of the Business Analytic solutions.
- Develop and maintain new skills to accomplish assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Maintain Documentation on support systems.
- Provide team guidance and systems expertise to team members assigned for specific tasks in accordance with established standards and practices for the systems being supported.
- Coordinate internal and external personnel in the completion of projects and communicate in a timely manner all issues, risks, concerns, and status to management.
- Travel (via plane or automobile) to branch sites to perform any of the above duties.
- Maybe necessary to leave on very short notice.
- Analyze operational requirements and assess information technology and capacity requirements.
- Plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot system software and hardwareMake financial evaluations and proposals regarding current and/or future hardware and software capabilities/requirements.
- Develop and write systems, reports and applications including documentation and guides for users.
- This includes learning and developing systems, reports, and applications in a variety of programming languages or environments.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years developing and maintaining Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions using SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Excel.
- Minimum of 3 years of programming experience in developing small applications and script development for automating administration tasks and other repetitive tasks including report writing is required.
- Preferred programming languages are PL/SQL, Visual Basic, .NET, Java and Linux Shell Scripting.
- Strong project management and leadership abilities.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills
