Job description
The SAP Senior Functional Consultant will be responsible forcoordinating and facilitating the design, build and deployment of enhancementsand new functionality to the existing MM solutions.
The selected candidate will be accountable to: coordinateand manage all resources and deliverables associated with developmentactivities in their area(s) of responsibility;
Assure delivery dates are achieved, resources are fullyutilized and within budget; manage the relationship with key business processowners including establish priorities for development activities,
Communication liaison between IT and the businessorganization and key interface;
Provide consulting to the business organization on how SAPcan be leveraged to improve business processing and technical guidance on howthe capabilities can be technically implemented;
Identify innovative approaches to resolve business issuesleveraging new technology capabilities provided with HANA and Fiori.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in technology related field
Minimum of 5 years\' experience in the following areas:
Providing technical solutions leveraging SAP capabilitiesand best practices to resolve business issues
SAP Material Management module experience with multiplelife-cycle implementations
Experience with application development methodologies andthe application development lifecycle
Experience managing project teams and project deliverables
Background in SAP Configuration design and master datamanagement
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
SAP Certification
SAP Automotive knowledge
Practical work experience with HANA, Fiori, EDI, PI,Autosys, Solution Manager
Previous roles managing geographically distributed teamsincluding off-shore Service Integrators
Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasksindependently
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to work as part of a global team
Experience supervising and mentoring employees in order tofacilitate their growth and development
