This position will act as an expert for the Business Intelligence and Analytics area.
The position will have extensive Micro Strategy development experience, be able to troubleshoot reporting issues and should have a general understanding of retail business processes.
Responsibilities will include functional and non-functional requirements refinement, creation or input into system design, application analysis and at time support and problem resolution.
As new capabilities are introduced or existing ones changed, the associate will be expected to provide training to the business community.
Maintains effective communication with management and project teamsLiaison between the business community, the architecture and the project development teams
Facilitates communications between the technology teams and the business
Adheres to department SDLC process and project frameworkSupports and adheres to defined architectural standards
Participates in or conducts code reviews with development partners to ensure requirements and quality standards are being met.
Assesses the use of technology components and ensures they are in line with standard tools and technology.
Leads user acceptance phase of projectsCompiles testing results and tracks issues
Communicates defects discovered in UAT to the project team for resolution
Assists in change management activities to deliver business solutions
Adheres to defined project delivery methodology, architectural standards, processes and policies to ensure quality of solutions
Operate with a commitment to embracing emerging trends, operations and technologies that are applicable to the businessFacilitates
Communications between the technology teams and the business
Demonstrate leadership in the pursuit of excellence and continuous process improvement initiatives
Enhance own working knowledge of the designated functional areas and applications/technologies
Adheres to department operations standards, follows the prescribed SDLC process and operational framework
