Gain knowledge of new application development and enhancements by working with development teams, reviewing functional design documentation and detailed technical specifications, and meeting with business users.
Create test plans, matrices and cases, as well as ensure adequate preparation of test data in an integrated
QA test environment, all in an effort to fully test application enhancements and fixes utilizing shop approved testing methodology.
All drafted project test plans should address the application modification as well as any peripheral impact to the modification.
Execute test cases and provide detailed documentation to support findings, identifying all call out issues, processing bugs,
Deviations from shop standards, and end-user business gaps.
Facilitate integration, functional, system, regression, load and user acceptance testing.
On larger projects, draft and coordinate testing schedules through MS Project plans, and work collaboratively with all pertinent business and development teams to adhere to this schedule.
