- The Financial Analyst of Ownership Services & Analytics will work in conjunction with the Vice President of Ownership
- Services and Directors of Ownership Services & Analytics in the oversight of our portfolio.
- Primary responsibilities include building strong relations through interaction with the level Executive Team and the Regional Teams.
- Position will be responsible for assisting the Directors to ensure compliance in accordance with the management and franchise agreements as well as all level licenses, permits, and contracts. In addition,
- This position will assist in reviewing, validating, analyzing, and compiling the monthly finance packages to ensure compliance and standardization amongst the various ownership groups.
- The position will also assist with the creation of capital budgets, cash flow models, and tracking of capital budgets.
- This position will be an integral part of the team in assessing opportunities, enhancing, and ensuring compliancy with the USALI, GAAP, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- The following are specific contributions that must be developed during the training program in order to successfully complete the program and be placed in the role:
- Assist with the analysis of the monthly, quarterly, and annual results, forecasts, and plans and prepare presentations for senior leadership team and other forums.
- Assist with identifying and developing practical strategies to mitigate areas of financial deficiencies.
- Provide over-arching strategy, game-plan to address, process and measurement, communication to stakeholders, and follow-up mechanism.
- Ability to comprehend, evaluates, and summarizes legal documents including pertinent leases, contracts, agreements, covenants, and restrictions.
- Demonstrate the ability to support, evaluate, and mentor qualified financial leaders within finance to ensure financial objectives are consistently achieved.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of USALI, GAAP, Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.Monitor compliance with internal control requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Support and strengthen the annual budgeting process to drive attainment of annual and strategic objectives.
- Assist the Directors with the analysis of the monthly, quarterly, and annual results, forecasts, and plans and prepare presentations for senior leadership team and other forums.
- Review monthly Financial Report to ensure accuracy and timely submited all to ownership by required deadlines.
- Conduct monthly strategic analysis of financial reports to assess opportunity areas.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of Ownership Monthly Reporting Packages.
- Assist the Director\'s with the completion of each properties yearly operating budget.
- This includes the validation of data, strategies, and compliance to the management agreements.
- Assist the Director\'s with the completion and execution of each properties yearly capital budget.
- This includes creating the capital budgets based on input from the Brands, IT, property level EC team, PIP\'s,
- The Asset Manager, and other sources.
- Continue to assist the Director's throughout the year on the execution and planning for the yearly capital purchases.
- This includes interfacing with the property level team,
- The Regional Operational teams, Capital Accounting, Design & Construction, and IT.
- Participate on capital planning calls throughout the year with each
- Assist the Director\'s in maintaining the capital models and cash flow for each.
