Work with supply chain team & management to develop KPIs and dashboards for the supply chain function
Develop Supplier Scorecards which help assess suppliers and their performance
Develop and implement necessary processes, procedures, and business systems required to optimize the supply chain.
Evaluate current and proposed supplier programs to identify the value these programs create, the value we are able to claim.
Compare programs to one another, and supplier to supplier offering insights as to which programs are of the greatest value to the company, under which circumstances
Analyze purchasing and cost data, in such a way as to provide management with insights as to opportunities which exist, and are not fully realized.
Partner with suppliers to obtain shared data and evaluate current supplier contracts for enhancement opportunities in support of supply chain strategies
Assist with inventory management efforts such as evaluating inventory systems and tools
Interpret and analyze freight, shipping and warehousing costs, recommend solutions for optimizing supply chain network and operations.
Support optimization efforts.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelors degree in business, engineering, finance, or related field required. MBA preferred.
5 years of analytical experience in manufacturing, distribution, or homebuilding
Strong financial/accounting business acumen preferred
Ability to relate and communicate across the organization, from field associates, up to and including senior management
Ability to think and operate strategically, develop effective partnerships and influence across functional boundaries.
Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills required.
