Job Summary

• Test Manager who has experience working with Oracle R12 systems.
• This is a 12 months + contract opportunity in Wayne, PA.
• The Test Manager will work as part of the delivery team, with responsibility to define overall Test Strategy, Test plans (including timelines, approach, resource requirements) and coordinate successful execution of Test Events such as CRPs, UATs, with focus on Automated Testing, User Test Script Development, and Regression Testing.

• To serve as primary SME and Lead/point of contact for overall Testing activities covering designated projects focused on Oracle e-Business R12 and related systems Upgrade and Implementation
• Define Test Strategies (to include all aspects of the testing process including exit strategy/requirements) for the projects portfolio and gain approval of test strategy, test plans and other project documentation;
• Work closely with the Business and Program Delivery Teams to maximize Testing investments.
• Establishes Testing schedules, delivery requirements and oversees testing activities for designated projectsConducts periodic review of test results by project (productivity, roadblocks, KPI metrics, defects)
• Reviews/distributes project status reporting and metrics;
• Attends and speaks to project status in project meetings and tollgatesCompile and approve test estimates;
• Defines Test requirements and plans for test data and environmentsWork with the cross functional teams including
• Project Delivery team/Business leads/other IT teams to coordinate the Testing Events such as CRP, UAT etc.
• Guide and Work with Automation Test Scrum Team and Automation Experts to implement automated testing at every
• level of testing as part of the overall test strategy
• Identify opportunities to improve Testing CYCLES and lowering defect rate; Lead root cause analysis (RCA) meetings and work with partner teams on implementing recommended actions
• Facilitates escalations to Project Manage/Delivery Manager/Program Manager that impede progress of testing if unable to resolve issues
• Role may require coordination with the offshore testing team as well

• 10+ years progressive functional testing experience;
• Recent experience in Oracle R12, Financials preferred
• Prior experience defining Test Strategies for a diverse set of Business
• Applications including Oracle R12, Vertex, other 3rd party systems
• Ability to lead/coordinate activities to review requirements docs/functional design documents to identify Testing
• Approach/Tollgates/RTM, test case set-up, etc. (i.e., MD-50/MD-70)Experience in HP QTP/UFT or similar
• Automation Test Toolset is desirable
• Proficient in use of HPQC, and JIRA in testing environment
• Meticulous organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines
• Agile mindset with focus on relationship management, balancing conflicting needs
