ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (include but are not limited to)

Oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of the customer relationship
Works with the customer to manage priorities and expectations
Ensures technical issues are resolved to the customerâ??s satisfaction as required
Ensures that the technical delivery of all services meets quality, scope and service level requirements
Ensures that all changes and other customer service requests are fulfilled timely and correctly
Performs network problem troubleshooting, including a cooperative work effort with the server group and support desk
Manages production problems when they occur, escalate issues to the proper support personnel when situations arise
Leads problem resolution efforts and post-incident reviews
Scopes, plans and manages small or routine projects within the IT environment
Builds and maintains strong working relationships with all levels of Venyu and customer IT personnel
Maintains a detailed understanding Venyu??s service offerings, delivery processes and technical capabilities
Identifies, documents and implements process improvement initiatives
Attends and participates in staff meetings and other meetings as necessary
Delivery Services Network Engineer (Senior): Sets the example of exemplary work and maintains a positive attitude within the team and division

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

SaaS
Proficiency in MS Office products
Demonstrated understanding of Data Center Operations and solid knowledge of Networking
Detail oriented, highly motivated, proactive and self-directed
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively with project teams, customers, and executive management
Hardware/software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience in supporting complex computing environments
Experience using and/or supporting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, LINUX, TCP/IP Networking, and, VMWare
Advanced in Windows Server Management
Strong attention to detail including accurate and effective customer communications
Advanced ability to manage and operate Linux OS
Keen Research and Troubleshooting skills
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, under stress and within time constraints
Proficient in Enterprise Applications (I.E. SQL, Exchange, Vmware, DFS.)
Strong time and project management skills required to meet deadlines
Delivery Services Senior Network Engineer must meet all Knowledge/Skills listed above, in addition to:
Proficiency in MS Server Operating Systems
Demonstrated understanding of Data Center Operations and solid knowledge of Enterprise networking
Strong research and network troubleshooting skills
Approachable & able to teach others, thus fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing

QUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITES

Required:

Must have a valid driver??s license, reliable transportation and be able to pass a full background check
Experience with Cisco IOS and Juniper JUNOS
Knowledge of IP networking and switching including IPv4 addressing, IPV6 addressing, subnetting, DHCP, ARP, and IP routing protocols including RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF; and concepts like VLAN trunking, MPLS, VPLS, L2VPN, VoIP, and IMS
Associate level Certification or higher (A+, Network+, Microsoft Technology Associate VMware Certified Associate, CCNA, JNCIA, etc.)
Associates Degree preferred; and/or High School Diploma with equivalent work experience
Delivery Services Network Engineer - Minimum of 5+ years related experience in supporting complex networking & computing environments
Delivery Services Network Engineer (Senior)? Minimum of 7+ years related experience in supporting complex networking & computing environments.
