Responsibilities:
- The Payroll Specialist performs payroll, accounting and administrative duties for locations.
- Responsibilities include processing payroll, performing audits, posting payroll expenses to stores books and resolving/ explaining payroll related questions to employees and managers.
- Maintenance Processing Update all employee information accurately and timely.
- Process new-hires, re-hires and transfers
- Process manual checks and terminations.
- Collect standard pay plans and modify pay calculation information
- Review maintenance for accuracy
- Perform necessary audits to ensure HRMS Enterprise System reports accurate data
- Payroll Processing- Responsible for processing 12-15 payrolls according to policy with minimal supervision.
- Collect required data from stores.
- Run data retrieval and calculation process.
- Import pay data into HRMS Enterprise System
- Run and review required reports in ReportSmith for accuracy
- Review payroll register for accuracy
- Identify and fix any missing data or incorrect calculations
- Posts store G/Ls.
- Enter all necessary data into shared logs.
- Scan all required payroll documents are reports at the end of each payroll.

- Maintain confidentiality at all times to protect the privacy of employees.
- Ensure wage and hour regulations are followed.
- Limit monthly Payroll Audit errors to five or less.
- Adhere to schedules and deadlines.
- Thoroughness, accuracy, and timeliness in completing essential duties.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor Degree preferred
- Prior payroll or accounting experience a plus
