Trigyns direct client is looking for Sr. Business / Quality Analyst for contract assignment in Manhattan, NY.

Description:

• The client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst / QA to support strategic initiatives across all departments with expertise in system migration projects.
  
• The Senior BA/QA will report to the projects team and/or PMO to help implementation and execution of projects throughout their lifecycles.
• This position entails User Acceptance Test coordination between our internal clients and vendors, writing requirement documents, data analysis in SQL, report creation, creating trade/system flow diagrams,
• PowerPoints. Projects assigned could be on an enterprise level, Front to Back and may also be required to work with third-parties.
  

Responsibilities:

• Work with Middle/Back Office as a Business Analyst/QA.
  
• Work closely with our business/users, other entities/departments and vendors to identify, assess and document requirements.
  
• Analyze impact of proposed solution, create use cases to explain to the business.
  
• Coordinate UAT, facilitate developing quality test scripts and executing them.
  
• Automating repetitive QAT tasks.
  
• Creating trade/system flow and ppt presentations.
  
• Maintaining a project and/or solution presentation for senior management.
  

Qualifications:

Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

• Strong trade processing and clearing background with at least 8 years working experience in tier-1 broker/dealer/investment banks.
  
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income and Equity trade processing and settlement systems.
  
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects)
  
• Advanced knowledge in one of the reporting tools, e.g. Cognos, Business Objects, SSRS Cognos preferred.
  
• Knowledge of VBA/SQL is a plus.
  
• Broadridge Impact system or other settlement application knowledge is plus.
