Job description

The Financial Analyst position primarily serves as the finance subject matter expert supporting and aligning with the Commercial team.
The position will be the key go to individual for all commercial analytics, metrics and modelling.
This position will also support the Accounting department in order to ensure a cohesive commercial strategy and financial controls.
Prepare financial models and conduct profitability analysis sales proposals to ensure compliance with financial guidelines and applicable National Accounts Agreements
Develop financial analysis for proposed Sales/Marketing programs and ad hoc requests
Help establish and maintain Commercial metrics to ensure Company is achieving goals
Help analyze competitive environment for adjacency expansion, improvements in channel, product development and life cycle among others
Assist with annual commercial budget ? updating forecast as appropriate
Prepare and distribute monthly reports including margin analysis, product mix, geographic mix, commissions, etc.
Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with Sales and Marketing teams; establish effective cross-functional relationships with Accounting/Finance, and other functional support teams
