Role:Front-End Developer Location:Baltimore, MD
Responsibilities
Build and layout e-commerce promotional efforts, emails and marketing/editorial content for our millions of readers.?
Develop front-end code variations for A/B testing using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.?
Perform quality assurance tests and ascertain the cause of a problem when a test is not performing as expected or adversely affecting other reporting.??
Qualifications
A strong grasp of HTML.
An intermediate control of CSS / Sass.
A working knowledge of JavaScript and Jquery.
Experience with building, deploying, and updating web content in WordPress or similar CMS.
An ability to troubleshoot functional and layout issues.
A desire to learn website/email design and layout, web analytics, and split testing.
Self-driven attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new systems.
Openness to reprioritize and adapt workflow in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Google Analytics/Webmaster Tools is a plus.
Working knowledge of Foundation or similar css frameworks will be advantageous.
Basic understanding of a pre-processing platform such as Grunt or Gulp.
Some experience with version control and Git.
