Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Will include, but not limited to the following areas:

  • Monitor and assist in management of output for Receiving, Inventory Control, and Shipping by maintaining and adhering to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Enter and forecast requirements into the SAP program to drive material planning requirements.
  • Audit operational processes and SAP compliance procedures.
  • Maintain all SAP data and verify for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide timely communication and reporting for WABCO Leadership.
  • Provide training and remain the SME (subject matter expert) on the SAP system and how WABCO utilizes the system.
  • Help to develop and maintain receiving and shipping windows utilizing SAP data and systems.
  • Maintain a high level of professional knowledge in SAP through different educational vehicles.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Qualified candidates will have experience in SAP programs and demand planning, knowledge of business processes associated with SAP, and computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience as SAP implementation in manufacturing or warehouse operations a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
