Role:IT Business Systems Manager

Location:Ann Arbor, Michigan

  • The individual will supervise positions such as Business Analyst, Software Developers and Database Teams.
  • Serve as a key liaison to senior management.
  • Develop a long term road map for business systems for the organization.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify, document and communicate business needs and provide IT solutions.
  • Develop project plans and implement solutions.
  • Provide an environment of trust, transparency, and camaraderie not only across the IT support organization, but throughout the organization.
  • Work collaboratively with people across the organization.
  • Plan, analyze and validate business needs both functionally and technically.
  • Analyze current and future business systems to determine if they align with the company goals and objectives.
  • Understand core systems such as ERP, WMS, CRM and EDI.
  • Ensure change management controls are followed throughout the business systems team.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to business systems team

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field is required/ MBA or advance degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of IT management experience within an organization with multi-manufacturing facilities in United States.
  • 3 years as a Business Analyst or Software Developer utilizing ERP, WMS, CRM, and EDI systems
  • 2 years in a lead/management role for an organization.
  • Demonstrate experience with strategic IT Project Management.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience with ITIL, Cobit, SOX and ISO and entire SDLC.
  • Expertise in mapping as-is and future state processes.
  • Ability to coach/mentor and develop team enhancement.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining Work Instructions and End User manuals.
  • Experience in creating functional and technical design documents.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of processing such as order to cash, procure to pay, warehouse management a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to team with others to develop and implement complex projects.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Office and Visio.
