• Financial Reporting, Analysis, & ProjectionsAnalyze major trends related to business changes and provide recommendations
• Extract data from various sources and complete analyses to drive solutions to business problems
• Maintain and distribute month end reporting packagesCreate ad hoc models and analyses as needed to evaluate business decisions
• Develop monthly projections for operating expenditures and provide guidance on variances
• Business PartneringFacilitate financial review meetings with business partners and work with business managers to ensure effective financial management of resources and opportunities.
• Work with business partners to provide analysis and reporting tools for ongoing product line and segment management.
• Manage annual and periodic budgeting/forecasting process for business groups, including updating spending forecasts throughout the fiscal year.
• Provide spending analysis compared to budget and forecasts on an ongoing basis for business partners and management.Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close activities
• Ensure adherence to GAAP principlesPrepare journal entries with auditable support within strict close deadlinesSupport preparation of monthly financial statements & executive reportingReconcile balance sheet accounts
• Analyze variances and provide explanations to management
• Sales PlanningSupport development of territory alignment, quotas, compensation plans, and sales reportingAdditional duties as required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA or BS, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics2-5 years cost accounting and financial analysis experience

• Proven Microsoft Excel skills and experience in modeling/data analytics
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teamsComfortable extracting and manipulating large amounts of data with MS Access or similar toolDetailed knowledge of ERP system transactional flow and resulting financial entries
• CPA or CMA preferred but not requiredDemonstrated strength in building strong business partnering relationships
• Familiarity with QAD, Cognos, Hyperion, Host Analytics or similar tools
• Experience in a high technology or medical device manufacturing environment
