Job Description:
- Create and maintain micro sites and landing pages providing an optimal user experience for thousands of visitors daily
- Update corporate sites and optimizing content to maximize page load times
- Perform quality assurance testing of code generated by the front-end developers
- Contribute UX design solutions and dynamic interactions on a project-by-project basis
- Work with marketing team, product managers and business stakeholders to maintain best-in-class solutions to support both business and customers
- Continuously explore new technologies and solutions for making our website more robust and user friendly
Qualifications
- Working experience in web development
- Web development experience using PHP, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Knowledge of responsive, mobile-first design and development practices
- A preference towards progressive enhancement rather than graceful degradation
- Knowledge of Git, REST, JSON and MySQL a plus
- Experience working in LAMP environment preferred
- Experience using Bootstrap and/or Foundation
- Passion for web development, learning and growing your craft
- Knowledge of content management systems like WordPress is required
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, time management and conflict resolution.
