UX/UI Designer
- Want to become part of a global industry leader and growing team of User Experience (UX) designers This role is integral to delivering user-centric current and next generation dental and digital manufacturing software technologies.
- As a UX/UI Designer you will be engaged in a variety of activities surrounding Cloud Point, our digital automation and manufacturing system.
- Cloud Point is a cloud-based CAD/CAM platform built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for the purpose of scanning, designing and manufacturing dental restorations.
- Cloud Point spans multiple software and hardware technologies facilitating complex digital manufacturing workflows which cater to both internal and external customer needs.
- You will be closely aligned with local and remote development teams throughout the product development life cycle, always bringing focus back to the user.
- You will work closely with an experienced team of peers on everything from white boarding to wire framing and usability testing.
Essential Functions
- Conducting User Interviews
- Creation of User-Centric Design Deliverables (e.g., personas, user flows, wire frames, etc)
- Low-Fidelity Prototyping
- Creating and/or Moderating Usability Tests
- Information Architecture
- Collaboration with UX Team Members, Product Management, Development, Quality Assurance, and End Users
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to empathize with the users you are designing for
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in the field of Cognitive Science, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Interactive Design, or similar, or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years industry work experience in a UX-related role
- Preferred Experienc enterviewing users for the purpose of informing a design process
- Defining information architecture
- Collaborating in whiteboarding sessions or sketching to facilitate discussion
- Using Axure, Omnigraffle, Visio, Balsamiq, Sketch, InVision or similar
- Participating in a full product cycle, seeing your work through from conception to development to launch
- Conducting or creating task-based usability tests, either in school or in a professional environment.
- Delivering reports and analysis based on usability research and findings
