  • The HR Systems Analyst serves as the primary technical and functional point-of-contact for the HR and IS Departments and will be responsible for maintaining and supporting system administration activities on a global HR system and/or reporting tool for the integration into HR related processes.
  • This position will strive towards maximizing efficiency and improving processes.
  • This will include, but is not limited to the evaluation of system functionality, testing of system configuration changes, the development of integrations between a global HR system and both internal and external systems, ensuring data integrity, report writing, and project management of small to mid-size HR projects.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue innovative initiatives and improvements in system design solutions and processes
  • Consult on design, development, implementation and system use of SaaS applications
  • Manage projects and coordinate with HR functional teams for process, system and system support initiatives including by not limited to system implementation and upgrade activities
  • Support internal/external integrations with Workday and other SaaS applications, including design, testing and troubleshooting
  • Design and configure reports and data analytic methods for use in routine or automated report generation or data analysis
  • Manage plans for and execute regression and patch testing on HR applications functionality including the documentation of test scenarios and test script creation
  • Communicate regularly with system users on projects, design changes and other work impacting the user community including, but not limited to required systems maintenance/downtime, changes in functionality, etc.
  • Maintain production and development environments for global HR applications and reporting tools
  • Provide support to system users on use of HR applications, reporting tools and troubleshoot/resolve errors and defects
  • Gather and document business requirements as well as perform configuration changes based on business requirements
  • Develop and document internal HR Systems SOP??s
  • Create and run routine reports and data analytics
  • Execute user guide maintenance for HR applications and related reporting applications
  • Execute basic data audits and distribute clean up and further instructions to super users on data entry procedures (i.e. supervisory orgs, cost centers, etc.)
  • Execute user access audits to ensure appropriate system access and data privacy
  • Understand proper use, storage and transmission of sensitive employee data and actively participate in system and data quality compliance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Information Technology related major is required
  • Minimum two years?? experience in an HRIS or functional systems role preferred
  • Project management, system implementation management or other applicable project execution experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of the HR processes and procedures (i.e. compensation, benefits, payroll, time tracking, etc.)
  • Experience working in a global organization is highly desired
  • Experience supporting HR related software applications such as SAP, SuccessFactors, or Workday preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to learn new systems
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoin
  • Strong technology aptitude and analytical skills
  • Ability to initiate and execute projects with a strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to evaluate logical connections between data and reports
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven customer service, organizational and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines, efficiently prioritize projects and embrace new challenges
  • Excellent Microsoft Office application skills
