POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Responsible for the proper accounting and reporting of all corporate insurance programs
  • Responsible for the intercompany billing of premiums, monthly/quarterly insurance reporting, and coordination of annual insurance audits
  • Reconcile accounts related to insurance programs
  • Responsible for subcontractor prequalification process and systems
  • Review subcontractor pre qualification submission for completeness and accuracy and enter into subcontractor

Prequalification System

  • Follow up with subcontractors for missing subcontractor prequalification data
  • Perform routine standard investigations into subcontractor??s financial information to verify it is fairly reported to
  • Evaluate and maintain subcontractor prequalification status
  • Execute add-hoc subcontractor prequalification requests
  • Verify risk mitigation steps are occurring on subcontracts with exception requests
  • Discuss/recommend maximum contract limits with Division Managers as needed
  • Provide Division Managers with alternative subcontractor risk mitigation strategies upon request
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Four-year business/accounting degree, or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • 2+ year accounting related experience
  • Exposure to financial reporting is preferred
