Role:Senior Financial Analyst

Location:McLean, VA

The primary functions of this role include the following:

• Conducting the financial planning and analysis for the Company
  
• Leading the monthly financial reporting and forecasting process
  
• Developing the annual operating budget and longer term financial projections
  
• Analyzing current and past trends in all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
  
• Developing complex financial models and scenarios and analyses to support strategic direction
  
• Working closely with the accounting team to coordinate the preparation and issuance of monthly financial reports and assisting in the annual audit process
  
• Performing business cases/ROI analyses
  
• Preparing presentations to the Board of Directors and Senior Management to support in-depth analyses
  
• Developing and monitoring key SaaS-based financial indicators and other meaningful metrics
  
• Assisting in other support functions (such as performing treasury functions, running payroll, managing investor relations and other special projects as needed)
  

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  
• 2+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
  
• Experience developing and maintaining complex forecasting models
  
• Familiarity with SaaS industry strongly desired
  
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven, self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
  
• Advanced Excel skills
  
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
  
• Must be able to self-review reports and journal entries for accuracy and completeness
