Job Description:

  • Manage the process and tasks associated with the co-ordination of reporting requirements for new client on boarding and ongoing support of clients, including co-ordination or reporting commitments from outside of the Business Intelligence department as required
  • Perform the systems analysis required to identify the application of existing Business Intelligence solutions or the creation of new reporting or analysis solutions
  • Document Business Intelligence requirements for business, development and QA technical resources
  • Facilitate JAD sessions with business stakeholders to elicit Business Intelligence needs and deliverables for information for project, work order or ongoing reporting/analytics initiatives or contractual commitments
  • Act as a primary or secondary Business Intelligence contact for assigned clients and internal groups.
  • Ensure requirements for time, budget, and quality objectives are met, as established for maintenance activities and projects
  • Maintain an â??advanced user? level of skill set on the use of key Analysis and Reporting BI Technologies
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of end user documentation and information on the Business Intelligence data sources and reports
  • Develop an expert level understanding of all major business processes and the associated data
  • Assist the development or management of Business Intelligence outputs as required, including Client Reviews
  • Work collaboratively among all Delivery team members ensuring knowledge and expertise is shared across individuals and teams for improved work performance

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years?? experience in Data Analysis, Report Development and Process Analysis or equivalent experience as a super-user/subject matter expert
  • Experience defining or developing reporting or data analytics requirements for end users
  • Working knowledge and application of basic statistics concepts including central tendencies, measures of position and measure of variation
  • Able to establish and maintain solid working relationships with a variety of personalities and skill sets within IT, Business Units and Clients
  • Experience working with tabular and multi-dimensional reporting technologies such as Business Objects, Cognos or Microsoft Business Intelligence suite
  • Basic understanding of the TSQL query language
  • Exposure to a formal SDLC
