Role:Quality Assurance Manager
LOC:Houston, Texas
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of overall product quality program:
- Policies, procedures, processes for sampling and testing products
- Qualifying and auditing both internal and third party labs and testing services.
- Specifications and quality parameters for products
- Final approver of oil and blend types
- Serve as the subject matter expertise for product blending and product additives as they impact crude oil quality as well for testing methods and selection techniques
- Lead the resolution of product quality issues
- BS in Chemistry (or similar field of study)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in analytical chemistry and quality assurance in the oil industry
- Subject matter expert in regards to crude oil testing, properties, and additives
