Job Description:
- Payroll Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :Perform all aspects of the full weekly/bi-weekly payroll process, including but not limited to garnishment processing, bank reconciliations, time tracking and Paid time off accruals.
- Utilize Infor/Lawson HRIS to complete payroll tasksPerform duties related to reporting, W-2 reconciliations, and annual filings
- Assist with the planning and integration of new companiesServe as a key resource regarding multi-state payroll taxesAssist with processing, filing and maintaining all relevant tax payments i.e.
- Federal, State Income, State Unemployment etc.
- Assist with the Payroll Liabilities reconciliation processFile workers compensation premiums for state-regulated programs
- Make recommendations on new or improved systems and processes
- Perform any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the payroll groupConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assignedApplies
- GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateDemonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to maintain confidential informationAdvance Excel skills preferred
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
- Experience with Lawson HRIS and Accounting programs preferred Basic
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year payroll or accounting experience
