IS Sr. Analyst, UI Designer & Developer Location Mississauga, CA

Job Description:

  • Contribute to operationalizing the digital strategy by providing the direction and content around UI elements of initiatives
  • Design, build and maintain the front-end development of the responsive intranet solution (myMLF) adhering to established branding, guidelines and standards for SharePoint Online
  • Solicit and critically assess needs from stakeholders to formulate requirements that drive value for the organization and can be translated into robust user stories
  • Work collaboratively with vendor partners to explore and assess solutions for implementation
  • Ability to create hi-fidelity mockups and turn them into functional web pages and solutions â?? code creation, testing and implementation
  • Create wireframes, sitemaps and mock ups as required to support future build executions
  • Maintain design standards to keep aligned with business objectives and brand guidelines
  • Ensure the desktop experience translates into relevant mobile experiences across various iOS and Android platforms
  • Analyze usage analytics and feedback to identify enhancement opportunities to improve user experience and drive engagement
  • Project management support including team meeting participation, effort estimation and reporting, and documentation as requested
  • Contribute to creating an approach and standards for delivery and maintenance of new mobile applications for key internal processes
  • Mentor and coach fellow team members and key stakeholders on relevant UI concepts

  • Complete implementation of the newly designed and responsive intranet, myMLF, and other productivity applications powered by O365 SharePoint Online
  • Set design standards for new enterprise mobile applications that directly address business needs for collaboration, social engagement and productivity
  • Enable creation of enterprise mobile applications for productivity gains
  • Explore options for delivering new ways of working to address persona pain points
  • Deliver solutions to new support requests received from IS Service Desk
  • Mentor and coach to build skills of junior talent
  • Maintain and refine the corporate UI coding standards
