- Seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking healthcare leader with the skills and expertise to provide operational leadership for a large orthopedic practice.
- Formed in 2002, is the 2nd largest physician owned practice in the metro Atlanta area with 39 physicians and 33 mid-level providers.
- Has 13 locations and 2 affiliated surgery centers. In addition to providing excellent musculoskeletal care to patients, we offer physiatry, diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, orthotics, work related injuries & evaluations and urgent care.
- The Chief Operating Officers main responsibility will be to plan, direct and oversee the operations of the organization in keeping with the boards policies, regulatory guidelines and mission and values of the company.
- This position will develop and maintain effective working relationships with providers, executive and management leadership.
- The COO will work directly with his/her staff, anticipate and resolve problems, and contribute to the decision-making process as a member of the senior leadership team.

- Possess a solid understanding of regulatory, financing and compliance requirements
- Comfortable with the use of technology as an important management tool; be analytic, and appreciate the importance of metrics
- This job requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare administration, business, or similar.
- MPH, MHA or MBA or related master's degree preferred, supplemented with a minimum of 7 years of comparable operational management leadership experience in a large group practice;
- Experience with Orthopedic practices preferred.
