Role:Senior SAP Analyst ME/MII
Location:Huntsville, AL
- Principal Duties and Accountabilities (*Essential Functions)
- Perform general Accounting functions such as accruals, account reconciliations, analysis, and reporting in the areas of payroll, AP, inventory, and product costing.
- Participate in monthly closing process with firm timeline requirements.
- Develop and maintain Material and Overhead Standard costs for new and existing products.
- Maintain reporting of inventory by business Value Stream and assist in their monthly forecasting process.
- Analyze variances such as production orders and purchase price and propose potential corrective actions.
- Coordinate and Reconcile Physical inventories, this includes identification of root cause and recommendations of corrective action.
- Perform monthly procedural audit of cycle count packets for correctness.
- Maintain reserves such as E&O (Excess and Obsolete) and other various as required by business needs.
- Assist in thorough testing of any new processes developed in SAP, as well as new upgrades to SAP in regards to Costing and Inventory Control.

- B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent field
- Two to three years Accounting experience, preferably in a Manufacturing environment
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (ie: pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- SAP experience preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
