Responsibilities

The candidate can expect to:

• Partner with the investment team to understand requirements and work to create consumable data content
  
• Develop processes and tools around datasets to enable the team to make better investment decisions
  
• Consolidate, validate and manage investment-related data from both internal and external sources
  
• Function as the team resource and SME as it relates to quantitative credit analysis
  
• Monitor and evaluate portfolio risk in a manner consistent with the teams philosophy
  
• Support trading efforts as needed in assisting with the management of trade relationships, trade execution and liquidity oversight
  
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the teamâ??s investment process
  

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess the following traits:
  
• A minimum of 3 yearsâ?? work experience in quantitative modeling or data analysis
  
• A degree in financial engineering, computer science, mathematics or similar quantitative field
  
• Proficiency with complex Excel usage; modeling experience strongly preferred
  
• Quantitative and technical skills with the ability to manage large data sets
  
• Comfort with using and extracting data from Bloomberg
  
• A high level of initiative and intellectual curiosity with an ability to grasp new concepts
  
• Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to work in a small, collaborative environment
  
• Commercial mindset with the ability to deliver in a timely fashion
