Job Description:

Seeking a courageous individual who will challenge the status quo to guide us in achieving excellence in supply chain, simplify our business processes, build trust with colleagues and partners and show care to our customers and shoppers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the supply of finished goods sourced from multiple manufacturing plants and subcontractors to two warehouse locations in the US (Ohio, CA)
  • Focus on service, cost, and inventory in alignment with corporate objectives to drive sales and profits
  • Take ownership of the product portfolio including excess and obsolete inventory, cycle stock, safety stock, out of stock, and portfolio performance
  • Expertly balance out supply with demand to ensure efficiency in inventory investment
  • Mitigate and find solutions to supply issues that arise for various reasons including overselling and production concerns or delays
  • Support the launch and re-launch of new products to meet ship dates while avoiding out of stocks
  • Support and coordinate the supply of finished goods used for promotional programs
  • Establish strong relationships with peers and work cross-functionally with demand planning, new products team, master data team, and marketing counterparts
  • Demonstrate willingness, desire, and tenacity to become an expert in SAP APO, Business Intelligence, and other corporate tools to improve overall performance
  • Accurately maintain all master data related to optimal supply planning performance
  • Identify and drive supply chain and systemic improvements to reduce supply chain costs, to drive efficiencies, and to drive continuous improvement
  • Take the initiative to identify, lead, and establish continuous improvement practices that improve supply chain and company performance

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge and understanding of inventory management principles
  • Previous supply planning and supply chain experience
  • Knowledge of multiple aspects of Operations Planning and Supply Chain including, but not limited to, financial analysis, master data, quality requirements, manufacturing, material lead times and capabilities
  • Bachelors degree with 4+ years working in operations environment, direct operations planning or equivalent experience, ideally in Consumer Package Goods industry
  • Strong Excel, MS Word, and project skills plus experience utilizing ERP software such as SAP APO and Business Intelligence
  • Experience in collaboration and influencing teams and manufacturing plants
  • Must be organized with excellent and effective follow-up skills
  • Ability to simplify complex supply challenges into clear and concise updates for business partners
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and set priorities while maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment
